The ninety-second version
You're a director-led business in Melbourne. Somewhere between five and fifty people. IT is a thing you need, not a thing you want to think about — and right now it's held together by whoever in the office is least afraid of it.
YouGrowIT gives you managed IT support without the enterprise theatre: one place to send every IT problem, a fixed price per person per month, and straight answers about what's included. No surprise invoices, no contracts that need a lawyer, no jargon.
Enterprise technology, small-business sized
Ten years ago, the things that actually keep a business safe belonged to companies with an IT department: proper identity security, centrally managed computers, backups someone has tested, evidence you can hand to an auditor. Small businesses got a nephew and a shared password.
That gap has closed. The same technology the big end of town runs is now available to a fifteen-person business at a price that makes sense — Microsoft 365, managed devices, multi-factor authentication, real backup, real monitoring. What most small businesses still don't have is anyone to set it up properly and keep it running.
That's the whole job. Not a watered-down version of enterprise IT — the same tools, sized and run for a business your size.
Why a small firm is the right size for a small firm
You get the principal, not tier one
The person who picks up already knows your setup, your history and which machine is the temperamental one. Nobody reads you a script or asks you to try turning it off and on again as step one of nine.
You're not the smallest client we have
At a big provider, a ten-person business is the account nobody's career depends on. That's usually where service quietly goes to die. Here, businesses your size are the business.
Decisions take one conversation
Something needs changing, you ask, we tell you what it costs and whether it's worth it. No account manager, no discovery workshop, no proposal deck for a job that takes an afternoon.
Specialists when it's warranted
Nobody is an expert in everything, and anyone claiming to be is selling something. When a job needs deep networking or security expertise, the right specialist comes in — and Ben stays accountable for the result.

Published prices, and the reason behind them
Most IT providers won't tell you what they charge until they've had you on a call. We publish every number — packages, hourly rates, after-hours, projects — because you should be able to work out whether we're worth talking to before you spend an hour finding out.
Our prices sit below the published Australian market. Not because the service is thinner, but because we don't carry a sales team, an account-management layer, a markup on your software licences, or a three-year contract with acquisition costs buried in it. The full explanation is on the pricing page — we'd rather you read it than wonder.
And every package is month to month. If we stop being useful, you stop paying. No exit fee, and your passwords, documentation and access come with you.
It's not a hostage negotiation. It's IT support.
Don't want a package?
Fair enough. Our pay-as-you-go rates are a genuine standing offer, not a punishment for not signing up. Same people, same straight answers, billed by the hour.
Work with an end date
Not everything is a monthly relationship. Some IT work is a job — move the email, lock the place down before an insurer asks, get fifty laptops under control. Those are scoped first and quoted in writing, and you don't have to be a support client to have one done.
Microsoft 365 migration
$990 base
+ $165 per user, inc GST
Email, files and calendars moved off Google Workspace or old hosting, with nothing deleted until you've confirmed it all arrived.
Security hardening
from $1,650
inc GST
MFA everywhere, access rules, device baseline and email security records — the things insurers and questionnaires ask about, switched on and documented.
And the rest
Device enrolment, CRM rollouts, AI rollouts, and compliance programmes for tenders and insurers. All fixed-scope, all priced before they start.
Where we go deeper
The situations that bring most people here, written out properly rather than left as a services list.
Winning contracts with security strings
A tender, a client questionnaire or an insurer's renewal conditions — assessed, closed out, and kept true.
Cyber security that fits your size
The handful of things that actually stop most attacks — and how much of it is already in your package.
Being moved off free Google Workspace
Google has started calling long-standing free accounts commercial. What the notice means, and what your options really are.
Getting real hours back from AI
Where it genuinely pays for a business your size, and how to roll it out without creating a problem.
Changing IT providers
What a clean handover looks like, and what to do when the old provider holds the passwords.
Moving to Microsoft 365
Wherever you're starting from — old POP hosting, a mix of personal accounts, or a tenant someone built in a hurry.
How people find us
5.0 from 29 Google reviews
We've never run an ad and we've never cold-called anyone. Almost every business we look after arrived because somebody recommended us — a director mentioning us to another director, an office manager telling a mate who'd had enough of their IT.
We've been doing this for Melbourne businesses for nearly twenty years — including a manufacturing business trading since the 1970s and a services firm that had to pass government security requirements to win a contract. The pattern in the reviews is the same either way: “explained to me in simple terms”, “prompt and reliable”, “incredibly patient”.
Some reviews mention us by our original name, IT Help — same business, same people. Read them on Google.
Growing this way costs us nothing in marketing, and that saving is in the price rather than in a budget. It also keeps us honest: when every client is a reference, doing a mediocre job on a small one isn't a rounding error. How referrals work here.

Not here for yourself?
Accountants, bookkeepers, advisors and smaller IT providers work with us for their own clients — by referral, in open partnership, or white-labelled, where we answer the phone under your business name.
And if you're weighing us up rather than ready to talk, how the business actually works is the honest version.
